Tell us which fixture is affected, when the issue began and whether it is happening now. You do not need to diagnose the cause.
Mention whether the property is a house, condo or business, along with parking or access restrictions.
Our team will confirm availability and next steps. Arrival timing depends on location and the work already scheduled.
Plumbing symptoms in Oceanside can require very different visits: a broken shower handle may involve access behind a wall, a spraying hose connection may have a separate leak farther along the hose, and a water-heater appointment may stop at an evaluation. These service records explain what John Ciampoli Plumbing actually inspected, repaired and left for follow-up. Our Spring Valley office coordinates service throughout San Diego County.
On October 28, 2026, our crew replaced a water heater in an Oceanside closet. The work involved stairs and a tight opening; the door was removed and part of the interior casing modified for clearance.
The installation included a new pan, expansion tank, restraints and connections. The crew filled the heater, checked the connections for leaks and verified hot-water operation. Door and access repairs were a separate follow-up item. This completed replacement was a different job from the September evaluation below.
On September 12, 2026, our technician found a broken shower handle in Oceanside. The handle screw could not be removed from the older valve, and property management approved replacement of the complete shower valve.
The crew set up containment, opened drywall from the closet behind the bathroom and shut down the building water supply. The existing valve was removed, the new valve was connected to the copper piping, and the water was restored for leak testing. New trim and a handle were installed, followed by final checks and cleanup.
For a similar visit, identify who can authorize the work, provide access to the other side of the wall and coordinate notices to affected occupants. Ask about finish restoration separately from the plumbing repair.
On September 21, 2026, an Oceanside inspection found that a hose connection was missing its gasket. Our technician installed a gasket and tested the connection; the spraying at that connection stopped.
Testing also revealed a pinhole leak in the existing hose. The record recommended replacing the damaged hose and did not document replacing the hose bibb itself. A repaired connection and a leaking hose were separate findings on the same visit.
When reporting an outdoor water leak, describe whether it comes from the wall connection, the threaded hose connection or the hose body. If you are unsure, say so; the visit should establish the source before defining the repair.
During a September 23, 2026 Oceanside appointment, our technicians drained an indoor water heater, reviewed the existing arrangement and prepared a materials list. They documented missing discharge piping for the temperature-and-pressure relief valve and the drain pan.
The team did not proceed with installation. The notes state that the previous plumber was expected to return and address the installation. This record documents an evaluation and preparation, not a completed replacement, startup or final operating test.
For a water-heater visit, provide the model, energy type, location and any previous work report. Ask who is responsible for corrections and final testing when more than one contractor is involved. The appropriate installation scope depends on the equipment and site findings.
